I was sitting at my desk this afternoon, working ... and thinking. Not those fluffy, white cloud thoughts. No. It was those thoughts that intrude, that want to take over and wrestle your hope to the ground.

This morning when I shared the message Faith to Forgive, I said that I would post some “prayer steps” so you can continue praying your way through the process of forgiving another. Here they are.

Pray this through as many times as you need to on your journey of forgiving another … even if you need to pray seventy times seven. What do obey, remain, and love have to do with each other? Jesus tells us. Join me and let's study the Fruit of the Spirit. I invite you to take some time, sit with your Bible, your notebook, your pen and highlighter, and let's study what God's Word says about love ... His Word transforms our lives.It's Bible study time. Join me and let's study the fruit of the Spirit together. Do you sometimes get stuck trying to figure out how to pray for others or even for yourself? Here's some help. We may know the facts, but God determines the final outcome. Sometimes what we want is not what we need, and what we need is not what we want. Thankfully, God is faithful to do what needs to be done in our lives. With love and compassion, God tells us the truth about ourselves and draws us to Himself. |
